Offering some
of the most excellent views of the city just metres away from this
cache in Barcelona's Parc Güell. The cache is hidden a little off
the beaten track and will require a little hiking to get to. At the
time of hiding, the 500 mL cache container contained: two sand
dollars from British Columbia, Canada, bike stickers, bubbles,
plastic ants, log book and pencil.
You can either approach the cache through the front entrance of
the park and visit the gecko located at 41 24.819 N x 002 9.172 E
and proceed from there. Alternatively a suggestion is to take the
metro to Vallarca and take the escalators up the hill to the back
entrance and enjoy the view and rabbit ears cacti. The route is
less touristy and easier too!
A note to geocachers: Parc Güell is not a very clean park, so
don't be surprised to find things in the park that you shouldn't
touch. If this concerns you then I would suggest to look at the
spoiler pictures below so you'll know what to uncover to access the
cache.
