Geocache Description:

St Paul's Church welcome you to their Geocache in the church micros series.  Please take time to explore the church and enjoy it's tranquility and marvel at its long history.  Inside the church  you will find more clues guiding you to the cache, start at the notice board near the entrance and follow the clues.  It is important that you obtain these clues as the cache is well-hidden under dense tree cover off the main path.

The cache is a small box located at ground level about 5 minutes walk from the church.  The cache site a short walk from the road but you will need the instructions from the church to help guide you there.

You have to go into the church to get the information to find the cache: The co-ordinates are N54 AB.1(AB+CD) W002 EF.5GH. AB = Look at the board inside the church near the front that lists the incumbents, find the date for JOHN BROCKBANK add those four digits together and you will come up with a two digit number - AB. CD = Repeat the process above this time for KENNETH PARTINGTON this time the two digit number is CD. EF = Near the entrance to the church are the hymn books, take own down from the shelf and look in the rear index of first lines, find the hymn number for the hymn that begins 'Glory to God all Heav'n with Joy is Ringing - the hymn number (not page number!) is EF. Before you leave the church, please sign the visitors book. GH = Moving outside of the church gates, look at the notice board, find the phone number, look at the very first digit of the area code - this is G. Look at the very last digit of the phone number - this is H You now have a complete set of co-ordinates, good luck, don't forget to use the hint if you need help! Did you remember to sign the visitors book to record your visit to the church, thank you.

MrsPuffin- new CO- the old formula did not take you close enough to the cache. I have checked the cordinates of GZ with three different GPSrs and changed the formula. Hope this helps.
