JustAlan: It seems to me to be a bad idea to have a cache directly opposite a major hospital in the middle of the Coronavirus pandemic, so I'm archiving it. It may (or may not) be replaced with a new cache when this is all over. Container has been removed.

Geocache Description:

A small camoflaged cache.

On top of the large roundabout opposite the Royal Derby Hospital is a large grassy area with views of the helipad on top of the hospital. I am reliably informed that this is a double helipad capable of receiving an MOD Chinook helicopter, but I have yet to see one up there.
PLEASE, PLEASE only access the roundabout via the two nearby light controlled pedestrian crossings, as the traffic travels fast, and there are multiple lanes to cross. There is also a cut grass path midway between the two crossings to get to the higher level of the roundabout.
There is limited street parking behind the nearby supermarket, but it is chargeable from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. Far better to use the bus.
