Geocache Description:

You are looking for a magnetic nano close to the village sign. BYOP and tweezers.

Syderstone is a beautiful village in North Norfolk around 6 miles from the coast. It boasts a village pub, a village hall, a traditional Norfolk round-tower church and numerous lovely residents. It is also the home of the Natterjack toad to be found on the Common.

The village dates back well over a thousand years. It is recorded in the Domesday Book, but the village pre-dates even this. The original Anglo Saxon name was Sidsterne, which means “large estate”, from the Old English “sid” meaning broad or extensive and “sterne” meaning property.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do. I would just ask that you let Smokeypugs know first so they can keep track of the Village Sign numbers and names to avoid duplication.
