Geocache Description:

Stalbridge

The 366th in a series of caches where a red telephone box
is in close proximity to a post box

Situated in the Blackmore Vale area of North Dorset, near the border of Somerset, is the small town of Stalbridge. The nearest towns are Sturminster Newton, 4 miles south-east, Sherborne, 6 miles west, and Shaftesbury, 7 miles north-east.

Stalbridge is situated on the A357 road on a low limestone ridge, one mile west of the River Stour. It officially became a town in April 1992.

The telephone box and postbox stand side by side on Barrow Hill on the outskirts of the town.
