WALL METHODIST CHURCH
The present church was built in 1829 when the society was already well established. Later the school building was built next door, catering for over 100 pupils from the surrounding villages. This continued as the village school until the building of the County School in Gwinear in the 1930s.
These days the congregation is very small but remain active in pastoral work and are currently in Local Ecumenical Partnership with the Parish Church of St Gwinear.
The Church is at the centre of four villages - Carnhell Green, Gwinear, Reawla and Wall, in the parish of Gwinear. Every week services take place and the Sunday School still exists. A local Residents Association runs a Youth Club in the hall which is also used by the WI as well as a monthly 'Soup and Sweet' community event and occasional coffee mornings.
The Methodists who worship at Wall have strong links with the Parish Church at Gwinear and regularly hold united services together.
