Please take note this this cache is ONLY ACCESSIBLE AT LOW TIDE.
There are two ways to reach the cache, one is using a sea kayak and the other is via a path from the road to the site. Both involve an element of danger so please read the instructions carefully.
If you chose to use a kayak, please ensure you are equipped with some experience, the correct flotation aids, helmet and necessary safety equipment. Check the sea and weather conditions before setting off. DO NOT ATTEMPT DURING ROUGH SEA CONDITIONS.
If you chose to approach the cache from land, please only attempt AT LOW TIDE. Park the car at the coordinates outlined. Follow the path to the gate. There may be cattle in the field. At the gate, follow the path to the beach. Take care not to wait too long at the GZ. If the tide comes in while you are there you will have to exit the beach by climbing the hill.
The cache is hidden close to a protruding rock to the right of the cave entrance. You will have to climb the rocks from the beach. Please take care when doing so.
The area is locally known as the murder hole, apparently in the 19th century a woman was pushed to her death for the cliff.
