Betty's Beach Box Letterbox Hybrid

This is a letterbox cache at South Beach Park in Boca Raton

The cache contains a homemade stamp.

The stamp, the log, and the stamp pad absolutely MUST stay with the cache.

As with my other letterboxing hybrid the GPS coordinates provided are correct - but you can follow the traditional letterboxing clues:

You can park at South Beach or you can park by the beach cam at the end of Palmetto Park Rd but both cost money. If you don't mind a little walk you can park for free on Palmetto Park Road East of the bridge. You can park for up to 4 hours and the walk is less than .2 mi :)

From where you would park for the beach cam at the end of Palmetto Park turn left and look for a paved path that goes north. Count the squares as you walk and at just about 99 squares you will see a bench dedicated by "Betty's" beach friends. Take a moment to sit and appreciate the fact that Betty and her friends loved the beach and that she lived to the ripe old age of 92....

When you are done stand up and go behind the bench and you should spy two trees locked in a loving embrace. The treasure you seek lies beneath.
