Geocache Description:

This is a simple(or not) cache and dash that follows on from a well known series in rest of the U.K.

Number 425 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rules are that they have to be able to be photographed together, be not more than 100’ apart and the phone boxes have to be red.

On the penultimate event for Manx Cachefest 15 (shiaulley dys shibber) a collection of cachers from London known for the week as LGH went for walk around the area in search of answers for another cache near by. On their travels they spotted this "fine pair" and were shocked that there wasn't a cache placed here. So on their return to the event they explain the series and exclaimed that we should place a cache and have the first "Fine Pair" on the island.

So here it is....

please be careful while searching as this is a very high muggle populated area with a busy pub and bus stop near by.

Thank you to MT for giving us permission to place this cache, even in light of BT's decision to now ban placement of caches at their boxes.

Please bring your own pen/pencil and a pair of tweezers. Good luck :)

The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum.

If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do, I would just ask that you let mattd2k at geocachingafinepair@gmail.com know first so he can keep track of the numbers and locations to avoid duplication.

He also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series so once your cache is published please contact him via his profile page to have yours added.
