A little-known but none the less well worth a visit Church set amongst the fields and gardens of Langham Hall.
YOU CANNOT DRIVE UP TO THIS CHURCH
Please stick to footpaths and follow through churchyard not around.
HARVEST FESTIVAL TAKES PLACE 10AM ONWARDS ON SEPTEMBER 20TH 2015 WITH BENEFICE LUNCH AFTER.
Until I started to investigate the Badwell & Walsham Benefice Churches I had no idea this one even existed. St Mary's is surrounded by glorious Suffolk countryside and when placing the cache we stood for a while watching an owl gliding across fields to the South East of the path. Amazing sight! For the younger cachers (or young at heart!) there are 3 trees providing some prime conkers which aren't far from being ready to fall.
Hidden away up a long track you will need to park up and walk to St Mary's. Please do not attempt to drive up the track as the land alongside the footpaths is private and sheep roam free. I have provided parking coordinates which you will find are right next to the Langham Bridge Cache.
Access from the road is through a wooden gate which you will find displays a notice asking that you keep to the footpaths. An OS map may be useful to this one as there is no footpath sign to guide you if you don't spot the gate.
There is also an alternative footpath that runs from the road further North and ends up at the back gate of the churchyard.
Please go through the churchyard and out the other side to reach the cache if required rather than wandering off paths and across the field.
This cache IS NOT in the churchyard but on a public footpath nearby. You are looking for a custom camouflaged tube.
