This is the final virtual cache intended to entertain and educate
visitors to my community. You will have to get out of the car for
this one, but that is as difficult as it gets. Be sure to bring the
kids to this one!
IMPORTANT NOTE!! - These coordinates have changed, because my
original virtual was removed for repairs. The new coordinates
are...
N 42 16.655
W 89 39.124
Round and round we go. And when we stop, nobody knows! This cache
is located in our community's largest park. When you enter the park
you may want to write down the name of it. (It doesn't really
matter, except for the small bit of trivia to follow.) And once
again, the answer of this cache is located on a plaque that is
located on a prominent park landmark. You can let me know that you
found it, by sending me an email message with the name of the
person that was the Park Commissioner from 1942 through 1960.
While you are here, be sure to spend some time and check out the
many things that this park has to offer. There are activities that
will keep the kids occupied for hours during the summer months. And
don't forget to check out the areas across the creek as well!
Oh, and about that little bit of trivia I mentioned earlier. Seems
that the people here have a thing for funny names and playing with
words, and it is evident in the naming of this particular park. For
example, take the name of the park (both words), and spell it
backwards. Now what does it say?
Enjoy your visit! And I hope you have as much fun while you are
here as I have had in providing you with this little virtual tour
of my home. Let me know if you have any questions. Or just stop
anyone you see along the way. I'm sure they will be happy to
help!
