Geocache Description:

All’interno della Riserva Naturale Orientata Bosco di Malabotta, tra i comuni di Montalbano Elicona e Roccella Valdemone, si trova l’altopiano dell’Argimusco in cui è possibile trovare dei particolari affioramenti di arenaria quarzosa modellati dell’erosione eolica: i Megaliti dell’Argimusco. Nelle vicinanze è possibile percorrere il “Sentiero dei Patriarchi”, lungo il quale è possibile osservare maestosi esemplari di Cerro (Quercus cerris).
Venendo dall’autostrada Palermo-Messina seguire le indicazioni per Montalbano Elicona. Raggiunto il paese seguire indicazioni per Tripi ai primi due bivi e, al terzo bivio, per Floresta. Puoi lasciare la macchina all'ingresso della Riserva.

In the Riserva Naturale Orientata Bosco di Malabotta, among the villages of Montalbano Elicona and Roccella Valdemone, there is the Argimusco upland, where it is possible to see the Argimusco Megaliths. They are particolar quartz sandstones outcrops shaped by the wind. Near there is the "Sentiero dei Patriarchi" where it is possible to see majestic Turkey oaks (Quercus cerris)
From the motorway Palermo-Messina follow the directions to Montalbano Elicona. Once reached the village, follow the directions to Tripi at the 2 first roundabouts, then at the third roundabout to Floresta. You can leave the car at the entrance of the Reserve.
