Un soir, alors que je me promenais dans les collines, j’ai rencontré un vieil homme. Il m’a demandé à boire. Nous avons partagé une bouteille d’eau. Et nous avons parlé. Voici ce qu’il m’a dit :
« Je reviens de Saint-Christol ou je vais parfois vendre mes pains. Je suis le boulanger de Travignon. Je fais le pain pour tous les habitants du village. Demande au gardien des aiguiers. Il te dira que c’est vrai. Il y a quelques années, nous avons construit ensemble ma maison… D'ailleurs, c'est lui qui a caché le fameux trésor de Travignon... Puisque tu m’as donné de l’eau je vais t’expliquer comment trouver ce trésor. La lettre que j’ai laissée dans ma maison t’aidera. Mais n'oublie pas, pour arriver au trésor, il te faudra prendre le chemin secret de l'arbre coupé … Va, et bonne chance mon ami »….
Quand j’ai raconté cette histoire à Véronique et Jean-Pierre, qui habitent dans la région depuis des années, ils m’ont dit que j’avais certainement rencontré le fantôme de Travignon. Car cela fait bien longtemps qu’il n’y a plus de boulanger là-haut...

The Travignon Ghost
One evening, while I was walking across the hills, I met an old man. He asked me for something to drink. So we shared a bottle of water and talked. Here’s what he told me:

The letter I left at my home will help you. But never forget, to get to the treasure, you’ll have to walk through the secret path of the cut tree… Go ahead and good luck dear friend” …
When I told the story to Véronique and Jean-Pierre who have been living in the area for a long time now, they told me I must have met the Travignon Ghost. Because it’s been a while there’s no baker up those hills anymore.
