WHEN - Saturday, October 17, 2015 - 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
WHERE - Auburn City Hall Lobby and Council Chambers - 25 W. Main Street, Auburn WA 98001
WHAT - Join fellow geocachers and put a face with a name you have seen in a log or two. Visit with long time friends and meet some new friends that may have traveled to attend this event and learn what interesting caches others have found over the last several months. Bring some friends that want to find out why we love this outdoor activity so much. Pick up a passport, download the 20 new caches to your GPSr device, and begin your Adventure. One completed passport per household, please. The caches will be released at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Light snacks will be served to those attending.
If you don't know anything about geocaching - or think you need to know more - we'll offer a crash course in what geocaching is and why you should be out there finding these wonderful caches. Someone will be at event headquarters until 5:00 p.m. to answer questions, give some additional hints if necessary, or for turning in your completed passport. You do not have to complete the Adventure on the event date, but can pick up a passport or download it to begin your adventure after this event date. For finding the 20 caches, we will reward you with a beautiful trackable geocoin. See the picture below of the coin you will earn for finding all 20 caches.
We look forward to seeing you there. Please log your "Will Attend" so we'll know how many people to prepare for. We plan for this to be the First Annual Auburn Geocaching Adventure, and hope to provide you with enough fun that you'll be anxious to return again next year to help us celebrate Auburn's 125th Anniversary as a city.
