Visit the top of Monas
Monas is the flame topped monument in the middle of a large Jakarta
park. On the north end of the park is a statue of one of their
heroes. Monas is a monument you can travel to the top of, some 110m
above the ground. There is a great view from here but each adult
costs 10,000 Ruphia (a little over US $1) for the visit. You make
the climb in an elevator. It closes at 3pm.
This is a paved area but I made it a terrain of 1.5 because I did
not see any way for a wheelchair to get around the need to climb a
set of stairs to get to the entrance.
