The name for this cache is apt for 2 reasons. Reason 1 being its placement Situated right along Charlotte's booty loop, this cache can be sween every (5K)ilometers (or 3.10 miles for us imperialists) as the loop takes you.
Reason 2 is its homage to gbmcache. On the verge of hitting (or a few caches beyond) his 5000th cache milestone as I type this, gbm has been a namestay hider and finder for as long as I have been geocaching. From his well researched/on point hides, to his detailed DNF logs that are more detailed than most found logs I have read - he takes an already fantastic hobby and somehow brings additional dedication and class to it.
I had the privilege to join him on an outing the other day and I learned more about this great sport in those few hours than I had for most of the 6 years prior I had been caching.
About the cache: It is a nano in a high traffic area. Muggles in the form of foot traffic are typicaly sparse, but they will give you the snarky eye if they don't like what you are doing. Passers-by might even stop and ask what you are doing. The difficulty rating will reflect the muggle presence.
So, to honor this cache in GBM's namesake, please: Log all DNFs (I will have a new log up within a day if the cache is missing), leave a memorable cache / story of GBM's in your log/find and most importantly, have fun and cache on!
