The Hyde Park chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Because of its location and history, the Hyde Park chapel is regarded as one of the most well-known meetinghouses in the Church. The church is located on a site that had remained empty since being bombed in World War II, and was first opened in 1961 by David O. McKay, the president of the Church.
The building is presently a multi-use facility, serving as a chapel, family history centre and visitors centre.
It was rededicated in 2012 following a refurbishment, which included improved facilities in the visitors centre and the installation of a replica of Thorvaldsen's "Christus".
