This is the first cache I have hidden. It is situated in Tynemouth Park and Boating Lake, hence the name 'Feed the Ducks'. There is permit parking on the road in front of the lake and Tynemouth Longsands is opposite. Within the park itself, there is a cafe, mini-golf, a play area, bowling green and giant inflatables. The cache could be part of a family day out.
The cache itslelf is in a small, rectangular plastic container, about 10cm in diameter. It contains some small toys to swap, and a pencil and log.
The cache is fairly easy to find, and is accessible by prams, bicycles and wheelchairs (wheelchair users will be able to get very close to the cache, but may need help retrieving and repositioning it).
