About REALLY SideTracked- Barkston Station

Barkston railway station was a former station serving the village of Barkston, Lincolnshire.

It was on the Great Northern Railway main line near to the now realigned junction with the lines to Sleaford and Lincoln.

The station was closed in 1955 and has been demolished leaving no trace today of its existence.

An excellent place for a park up and watch the East Coast mainline trains thunder past. You won’t have to wait long; they come past in either direction every 7 minutes
