We chose a time corresponding to high tide. Distance to the event coords is about 3/4 mile, a short distance up the Croton River and away from the bright lights of the train station. Weather cooperating, it should be a gentle paddle to get there with little current at this hour.
We'll be in a big bright orange tandem kayak.
