[RO] Denumirea germana a statiunii a fost data de izvorul Hohe Rinne ce se regaseste si azi la 10 minute de mers pe jos de la hotelul nostru si de unde provine apa "Hohe Rinne" oferita din partea casei oaspetilor nostri in Restaurantul Conradt si in Gutt Café. Denumirea statiunii a fost schimbata ulterior in Paltinis, nume care provine de la varful montan cu acelasi nume, avand la origine paltinii care cresteau in zona.
Paltinis a fost prima statiune infiintata in Muntii Carpati, la aceea data fiind si statiunea aflata la cea mai inalta altitudine din Carpati (1.448m), in prezent fiind a doua cea mai inalta statiune montana din Romania.
Constructia primelor cladiri a inceput in 1892. Dintre ele putem regasi astazi ca monumente istorice "Casa de Cura Hohe Rinne" ("Kurhaus auf der Hohen Rinne") si "Casa Monaco". Arhitectura lor a fost inspirata de cea a cabanelor alpine din Tirolul austriac.
Inaugurarea s-a facut pe 10 iunie 1894. Robert Gutt s-a adresat de pe terasa cladirii principale de la Kurhaus auf der Hohen Rinne celor peste o suta de invitati, chemandu-i sa revina an de an si vara dupa vara ca oaspeti si prieteni ai noii statiuni.
[EN] The German name was on spring resort Hohe Rinne what is found today a 10-minute walk from our hotel and where the water " Hohe Rinne " offered to our guests in the house and Gutt Conradt restaurant Café. The name was changed later in the resort Paltinis , a name that comes from the top of a mountain of the same name , with paltinii which originally grew in the area.
Paltinis resort was first founded in the Carpathian Mountains , at that time being and resort situated at the highest altitude in the Carpathians ( 1.448m ) currently being the second highest mountain resort in Romania .
Construction of the first buildings began in 1892. Among them we find today as historical monuments "Casa de Cura Hohe Rinne " ( " Kurhaus auf der Hohe Rinne " ) and "Casa Monaco " . Their architecture was inspired by the Austrian Tyrol alpine chalets .
The inauguration was made on June 10 , 1894. Robert Gutt addressed from the terrace of the main building of the Kurhaus auf der Hohe Rinne of over a hundred guests, urging them to return year after year and summer after summer as guests and friends of the new resorts .
