[RO] Un important obiectiv turistic în staţiune îl constituie Schitul Păltiniş, o biserică de lemn ridicată în jurul anului 1930, unde se află mormântul filozofului Constantin Noica.
Schitul a fost ctitorit de mitropolitul Nicolae Bălan şi are hramul “Schimbarea la Faţă a Domnului” şi beneficiază de o catapeteasmă realizată între 1944-1945 de Constantin Vasile în stil neobizantin. Fresca este opera lui Ovidiu Preotescu. Bisericuţa a fost ridicată cu ajutorul unor meseriaşi din Răşinari. În turnul din brad sunt două clopote din bronz turnate de firma Kantz din Sibiu în 1927.
[EN] An important tourist attraction in the resort is the Hermitage Paltinis, a wooden church built in around 1930, where the tomb of the philosopher Constantin Noica.
Hermitage was founded by Metropolitan Nicolae Balan and is dedicated to "Transfiguration of the Lord" and receive a iconostasis made between 1944-1945 by Constantin Vasile in Byzantine style. The fresco is the work of Ovid Preotescu. The little church was built with the help of craftsmen from Răşinari. The tree tower are two bronze bells cast in 1927 in Sibiu Kantza company.
