Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Virgil Memorial Forest which is cared for by the NPCA. You are looking for plastic camo taped container with room for tradeables and trackables and is hidden according to the guidelines as set out by the NPCA.

Welcome to the Attribute Series -- This series of caches that I will be putting out through out the course of 2015 will Highlight the one thing many cachers forget to fill out while publishing their cache... Attributes!

Attributes can be important in many ways, and then can give a cacher at a glance what the geocache experience may be like. It can also be used to suggest what kind gear may be needed to prepare you for a particular Geocaching adventure.

There are also many geocache challenge caches that require you to find many caches with certain Attributes and if cachers don't fill them into the cache description that can really make it difficult for find the caches needed to complete your challenge.

This particular Attribute cache will focus on a scenic view, thorns and perhaps a special tool. I would like to put the idea out there to include in your log any caching stories or caching memories that may have caused you to hurt. Perhaps you got stuck by a pricker bush, or bumped your head on a tree branch, maybe twisted an ankle while hiking.... you get the idea. This of course in not a logging requirement as that sort of thing is not allowed. I would like to share stories. I will post a note or two on this listing to share my stories as logs come in.

"The Virgil Memorial Forest is a living tribute to loved ones remembered through memorial donations to the commemorative tree program "

If you are looking for a peacuful walk in a nice kept yet wild little forest area than this is your destination. There is a lot to offer here in the diversity of the trees as well as other plants and some flower I spotted while walking about., I also found a nice patch of wild raspberries. There is also a nice low lying marsh area and a creek that runs through. This is a great place for bird watching and also admiring cotton tails as I must have seen about five the evening I placed the cache.

This cache is place within the 1 meter from the edge of the defined walking trail as per the rules for placing a cache on NPCA property. This listing will only be available for a period of 1 year from the date of publication at which point I will either remove the cache or ask for an extention for it placement. Its fate will be determined by the NPCA.

Please be respectful of this wonderful park and leave only your footsteps and only take out a memory or two.

Be safe and happy caching
