Late in 2014 a new Scout Group joined Stockport District. Once up and running the group chose to resurect the title of 6th Stockport a group which had met in this part of Stockport previously but had been disbanded. The group meets at All Saints Church which is on the corner of All Saints Road and Manchester Road in Heaton Norris. For the groups necker the leaders and youth members chose a very distinctive Royal Blue with a Yellow stripe. The group supports all three of the group based youth sections. Beaver Scouts 6 - 8 year olds, Cub Scouts 8 - 10 1/2 year olds and a Scout Troop of 10 1/2 - 14 1/2 year olds. If there are any cachers who would like more information on the group or would seek to become a youth or adult member please contact the cache owner who will be pleased to help you make contact. The cache is in a residential area so approach with stealth and make full use of the natural cover to avoid muggleation! The cache itself can be reached without going into the church grounds (if that doesnt give you an additional clue I dont know what does!)
