The Cathedral is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Province of Southwark which covers the Archdiocese of Southwark (all of London south of the River Thames including Kent and north Surrey) and the Dioceses of Arundel and Brighton, Portsmouth, and Plymouth. It is the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Archbishop of Southwark.
The Cathedral was badly bombed during World War II and the rebuilt Cathedral was opened in 1958. Since then it has resumed its role as a focal point in the local community and has played host to many notable visitors, including the Dalai Lama
The cathedral is above all a working church for the community. The vibrant Latin American community is served with a Spanish Mass every Sunday celebrated entirely in the Spanish language.
And so to the cache...
This is a short multi, and the final is just a few moments away, but is in an area that will need a little bit of stealth.
To find the cache you need some numbers
There are two wooden doors with ABC rivets in each door.
Just to the right of the church is a church hall. The name of the building is Archbishop... D E F (number of letters in the words)
So the coords for the final are
N51 (A+A) (D+F) . (A+C) (D) (D-F)
W000 (B) (E-A) . (F) (C-F-A) (B)
The final is nearby, and you should still have a view of the cathedral!
Please bring a pen, you need it to sign the log!
