"The Sontaran Experiment" was the third story in the twelfth season of the BBC sci-fi programme "Doctor Who." Shot entirely on location at Dartmoor it was the first story to contain no interior scenes and it was the shortest story of the 1970s, having only two episodes. It is one of only eight televised stories in the history of Doctor Who not to feature the TARDIS. Tom Baker played the fourth Doctor and his companions were Sarah Jane Smith and Harry Sullivan.
During shooting, Tom Baker broke his collarbone. However, because part of his costume was a large scarf, he could conceal the neck brace he had to wear following the injury.
In your logs it would be great if you could mention your favourite Dr Who and/or Dr Who quote.
I like all of the Drs, but have to confess to watery eyes at the departure of the tenth Doctor - David Tennant. Quotes ... hmmm, so many to chose from. Maybe,
“I am and always will be the optimist. The hoper of far-flung hopes and the dreamer of improbable dreams.” — The Doctor (Matt Smith, the 11th Dr), Season 6, Episode 6
