This place celebrates some paranoid private property owners who try to prevent anybody being on their property even if it is some pointless batch of shrubs somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Supported by some dubious lawmaking, this has created situation, where in Estonia with vehicle You should stay on paved roads (no dirt roads!) or You risk violating the law because You never know if particular road is registered road for public use or just "random tracks on private property" (no signs required by law anymore). Also there is habit of putting up countless "private property" signs everywhere to prevent hiking or biking in woods. I have witnessed also that people put these signs also to the places which they actually do not own, just to keep other people away. For people who like to hike and be in nature, this is very serious problem.
Here You can visit Valdur. He has small batch of forest and his life is dedicated to protect this from everybody else. Most signs You will see are in Estonian, sorry about that.
