I mitt tycke har denna plats den bästa utsikten på ön Vaxön i Vaxholm.
Oavsett vilken tid på året du besöker denna plats är det aldrig fel att ha med sig något att fika och samtidigt hänföras av utsikten.
Ett av de landmärken du kan få syn på när du blickar ut mot Bogesund är det majestätiska Bogesunds Slott. Per Brahe d.y. lät bygga den dåvarande, något mindre, slottsbyggnaden omkring år 1640. Braheätten fortsatte att äga slottet till år 1739. Staten tvångsövertog slottet och dess mark år 1946 till följd av vanvård av den dåvarande ägaren. Än idag står staten kvar som ägare till slottet.
Nedanför denna plats huserar ett sällskap som intresserar sig för kanoter, kajaker och roddbåtar. Med lite tur kan du beskåda hur man tränar samtidigt som du själv har det väldigt lugnt och skönt. Kanske med en kopp kaffe i din hand.

In my liking, this site has the most scenic view on this island called Vaxön in the municipality of Vaxholm.
No matter what time of year you happen to visit; there is no time that don't call for an opportunity to picnic and at the same time be thrilled by the view.
When looking across the water you might see the mighty Bogesund castle. Per Brahe (the younger) had this built around year 1640. The Brahe dynasty owned the castle and its land until year 1739. The Swedish state expropriated the castle in 1946 due to lack of care by the current owner and is until today still the owner.
By the foot of this mountain there is a sports club that take interest in canoes, kayaks and rowboats. With a little luck you might have a chance to see when they are exercising on the water. All this when you yourself are having a nice and relaxing time. Perhaps when enjoying a good cup of coffee in your hand.
