The cache is on Stora Kummelskär. The rocks are Granite. The Granite has crystallised under high pressure, for example under a volcano. After that the granite went through strong transformation i.e. through a metamorphosis under high pressure and heat as the rock folded. The crystals were stretched and the layers were bent. This created the wavy shapes about 2 billion years ago. The ice river flowed here only about 12 000 years ago.
