Number 283 in a series of caches where a red telephone box is in close proximity to a post box. The only rule is that they have to be able to be photographed together, and the phone boxes have to be red.
This example of a paired phone box and post box is to be found opposite the former Vale of Berkeley College site which closed in July 2011. The site, sold by Gloucestershire County Council to the Prospect Education Trust, is now home to the Focus School which follows a strict religious ethos.
There is ample space for parking at the published coordinates where you will need to examine The Fine Pair and take note of the “post box number” – the numerical digits of this are ABCDE
Then proceed to Stage 2 and find out when the house here was built – FGHI
The cache is to be found at N51 42.BEH W002 27. (A+B+C) H (E-B)
You are looking for a home-made micro-sized screw-topped camouflaged container with a special attachment
Thanks to Gataki and DrAl for the idea for the attachment
Please BYOP and rehide carefully using the camo to help survival!
The Fine Pair series was originally started by wizardsmum.
If anybody would like to place 'A Fine Pair' of their own please do, I would just ask that you let mattd2k at geocachingafinepair@gmail.com know first so he can keep track of the numbers and locations to avoid duplication.
He also keeps a public Bookmark List of this series so once your cache is published please contact him via his profile page to have yours added.
