Led Zeppelin
Led Zeppelin var ett brittiskt rockband bildat i september 1968. Gruppen kom med sin blandning av blues, hårdrock, folkmusik samt österländska klanger att bli ett av de största namnen inom rocken på 1970-talet. Led Zeppelin slog igenom med låten ” Whole lotta love” i slutet av 1969.
1970 gavs det folkrock-inspirerade albumet III ut och året därpå det stilbildade albumet IV, med en av gruppens mest kända sånger "Stairway to heaven". Gruppens första album anses av många vara bland de främsta i genren. Gruppen räknas än i dag som mycket inflytelserik och som riktiga pionjärer inom hårdrocken.
Gruppen splittrades då trummisen John Bonham avled den 25 september 1980.
Led Zeppelin invaldes i Rock´n roll hall of fame år 1995
Tillfälliga återföreningar gjordes under åren 1985 ( Live Aid),1988 (Atlantic Records 40-årsjubileum) och 1995 (Hall of Fame). Dock alltid tillsammans med andra musiker och aldrig under namnet Led Zeppelin. Den 10 december 2007 gjorde bandet sin hittills enda officiella spelning sedan 1980. De medverkade då på en gala på O2-Arenan i London till minne av Ahmet Ertegün, grundaren av skivbolaget Atlantic Records.
Konserten från O2-arenan som hade spelats in gavs hösten 2012 ut på CD, DVD och Blu-ray samt våren 2013 på en trippel-vinyl och fick namnet "Celebration Day".För musikalbumet fick Led Zeppelin 2014 en Grammy i kategorin: årets bästa rockalbum, vilket var första gången Led Zeppelin fick priset.Konserten visades även på bio 17 oktober 2012 i 40 länder på cirka 1500 biodukar under en kväll och drog in 2 miljoner dollar.
Led Zeppelin bestod av medlemmarna Robert Plant sång, Jimmy Page gitarr, John Paul Jones bas, John Bonham trummor.

Led Zeppelin was a British rock band formed in September 1968. The group became well-known with its mix of blues, hard rock, folk and Oriental sounds to become one of the biggest names in rock in the 1970s. Led Zeppelin broke through with the song "Whole Lotta Love" at the end of 1969.
1970 was the folk-inspired album III out and the following year the style formed the album IV, one of the group's most famous songs, "Stairway to heaven". The group's first album is considered by many to be among the best in the genre. The group is still today counted as very influential and like real pioneers of hard rock.
The group disbanded when drummer John Bonham died September 25, 1980.
Led Zeppelin was elected to the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 1995
Occasional reunions were made in 1985 (Live Aid), 1988 (Atlantic Records 40th anniversary) and 1995 (Hall of Fame). However, always together with other musicians and never under the name Led Zeppelin. On 10 December 2007 the band made its only official gig since 1980. They appeared then at a gala at the O2 Arena in London in memory of Ahmet Ertegün, the founder of the record label Atlantic Records.
The concert from the O2 Arena which had been recorded was the autumn of 2012 and was released on CD, DVD, and Blu-ray as well as the spring of 2013 on a triple vinyl and was named "Celebration Day" .For music album got Led Zeppelin 2014 Grammy Award in the category: the year's best rock album, which was the first time Led Zeppelin got the price.The concert was also shown in cinemas October 17, 2012 in 40 countries on about 1,500 screens in one evening and it drew 2 million dollar.
Led Zeppelin consisted of members Robert Plant vocals, guitar, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones bass, John Bonham drums.
