Welcome to the White Mountain Battleship Series. Just like the real-world game, the objective here is to sink the boats. They are:
Battleship
Destroyer
Submarine
Carrier
Cruiser
To find these boats you must have luck on your side. Or, you can approach it logically and try to calculate your next move. Or a little of both.
Each of the caches in the series represents a space on the Battleship grid. When you find the cache, under the lid there will be a sticker with help to the puzzle caches above or the word MISS. Once you find the HITS for each ship, you should have enough information to find that ship. Once you find all five ships, you will have clues to the final:
You Sunk My Battleship!
The grid caches are pretty straight-forward. I purposely did not make them difficult. Variety is the spice of life, so don’t count on them being easy or in geo-obvious locations. None are on posted or private property. All are random – don’t think smaller containers or easier caches must be MISSES and others must be HITS. Over-thinking the series will just get you frustrated. It’s supposed to be fun.
