Welcome to the Gawler Fort Knox Geocache where all is held under tight security as you will see. Gawler Fort Knox is conveniently located between two major roads, one being Carlton road that runs from the main street of Gawler to Kalbeeba passing the new Springwood Estate on the way to the Barossa wine region. On the other side you have Lyndoch road this also is a very busy road which leads to Lyndoch itself then on through various small towns winding through the Barossa Valley.
When visiting Gawler Fort Knox you are able to take a trackable item from the cache or swap one over but only if you choose, also TB owners are most welcome to send me a message if you would like a picture of your trackable at my cache to keep you updated on their progress or if you feel it has been here too long I can move it on for you, If you like I can also arrange for your TB to be returned home to you. Please move the travel bugs and or geocoins that you take to another cache ASAP, remember to log your trackables with Geocaching.com so there journey can continue on.
To find this cache you will need to find the next coordinates, these will be available at the first location, there is plenty of off road parking for your convenience.
Permission is allowed for geocachers to access the secret location with special fixed key which will allow geocacher’s access they need only, (Key will be provided but hang on tight ) late evening or night will give best effect for accessing cache and less muggle activity. To find cache you can press special locate key which will point you in the right direction. Then when you have located cache you will have approximately 10 seconds from when you press unlock button to accessing secret location, but if you miss your opportunity the first time try again, once you enter location it will stay unlocked until you lock again with key.
Mind your head and feet, skill will be needed to complete transaction but be gentle.
This Cache maybe tricky for some but keep at it, you will get it.
Please ensure all is returned as you found it for the next geocacher.
