SLO:

Kamen so vedno kopali ročno s preprostim orodjem. Ponj so hodili v rove z vozovi in izgledali so kot majhni rudniki. (Povzeto po: Podobe trojiške šole - zbornik 2011).

Uganka:

Ko sem ga uspel razvozljati, sem odkril zanimiv zaklad :)

ENG:

I heard that very long time ago people provided stone from local quarries to build almost all surrounding buildings – even before 1358 AD! The last quarry was closed around year 1950. They dug ceritic and oolitic limestone which can be found only underground in this area.

There are two quarries preserved to this day where we can find yellow-brown limestone and sandstone. Most churches and castles around this area were built with this limestone, local folk also used this to fortify the roads. There were about 30 similar shafts in this area! They always dug the stone bare-handed and with very simple tools. They used carts to drive the stone from shafts that looked like small mines.

The puzzle:

When I tried to find the exact location of both quarries, I found an interesting document in the archive, supposedly written by quarry workers. Once I've managed to decrypt it, it led me to a nice treasure :)
