Les 2 et 3 mai 2015, nous avons célébré l'histoire du geocaching. 15 ans plut tôt, naissait notre passe-temps favori, le geocaching. Le 2 mai 2000, les ondes GPS on été décryptées et ouvertes officiellement au public, augmentant la précision des GPS du monde entier par 10. Le jour suivant sera reconnu comme le jour où la première geocache fut placée.

15 ans plus tard, plus de 2 600 000 caches ont vu le jour dans le monde entier, avec plus de 6 millions de geocacheurs. Pour cette occasion, je vous propose une geocache urbaine traditionnelle. Elle est volontairement simple à trouver pour que le plus grand nombre de geocacheurs puisse y accéder sans trop se prendre la tête.

Cette cache a été posée le 3 mai 2015 à l'occasion de l'event 15 Years of Geocaching. Elle fut publiée durant l'event et tous les geocacheurs présents lors de sa découverte sont enregistrés comme FTF.

This May 2nd and 3rd, we celebrated the history of geocachin. May 2nd and 3rd signal the beginning of geocaching, some 15 years ago. On May 2, 2000, GPS signals were descrambled, increasing the accuracy of GPS devices worldwide by ten times. The following day, what would become known as the first geocache was hidden.

15 years later, more than 2 600 000 geocaches had popped around the world, with more than 6 million geocachers. For this occasion, I offer you a traditional urban geocache. It is easy to allow a lot of geocachers to fin it easily.

This geocache was placed on May 3rd 2015 during the event of the same name 15 Years of Geocaching. It was published during the event and all the geocachers that were there to find the cache are considered as FTF.
