A cet endroit, on est probablement au sommet de la Butte-aux-Cailles, à l'altitude vertigineuse de 63m par rapport à la Bièvre. C'est un bon point de départ pour une balade dans le quartier qui a gardé son aspect d'autrefois. Préservé des travaux de Haussmann, il possède de nombreuses petites maisons et rues, dont le passage Vandrezanne ou est située la cache.
On est aussi tout près du puits artésien avec sa fontaine post-moderne ou vous pourrez vous désaltérer d'une telle ascension (voir également la géocache). Il est situé sur une place où arriva le premier vol libre en montgolfière, le 21 novembre 1783.

At this location, you are probably at the top of the Butte-aux-Cailles, with the dizzying altitude of 63m compared to the Bièvre river. It's also a good starting point for a stroll in the neighborhood that has kept its original appearance. Preserved from the Haussmann's works, this area possess many small streets, like the "Passage Vandrezanne" where is located the cache.
You are also near the artesian well where you can cool down from such an ascent (see the geocache) whose post-modern fountain is located on a square where the first balloon flight landed on November 21 1783.
