Geocache Description:

Clogher Head is like a synonym for the Dingle Peninsula.
You have the ocean with strong winds, you have rocky cliffs, sometime the spray in the air, you can taste the salt on your lips.
You have great views when the weather is fine, on the ocean, the islands and lovely beaches, and you can stay for a long time to watch.
You have great feelings when the weather is strong... the wind, the fog, the mist, the rain...
You have the head in front of you, you can go deeper into the ocean and get strong feelings.
Everything that makes Dingle to that beautiful place is here in a miniature version.

The Clogher Head Caches are a sequence of 3 Caches, dedicated to both, the ocean and the mountains, finally resulting in a Bonus Cache, you get the coordinates in the two traditional caches.
This Cache is dedicated to the Mountains, from which you have brilliant views over the coastline and the area around, like you have it from many mountains and hills on Dingle Pen. For sure, although this is the first one of the sequence, this is also the hardest one, esp. in summer. But you will earn great views over Clogher Head and beach, so take time and take views. Bring your binocular with you.
The cache is a small lock-lock-container, it can take small trackabels, and it is hidden between the stones, where else in this place??? So it is not easy to find, that’s why we set the D-Rating on 3, respect the spoiler pics, there are many options to hide something. Focus first on the big stone left of the main summit, when you are at the reference point, in that area you will find the cache.

In the summer period it might be easier to start at Parking 2 due to Vegetation...
