Hollywood Park was conceived by John McClure who unfortunately didn't live to see the space opened to the public by his wife in 1884. Curiosity attached to the locality comes in the form of the spooky tales relating to Maggie's caves. This green-space has seen many changes in the last two decades alone. Some may remember the park-keepers lodge/public convenience by the play area, others might recall the fair that used to visit on a yearly basis.
This geocache is located in the north-west corner of what used to be a bowling green but is now a conservation area of sorts, albeit a fairly wild one. There's a very 'Hollywood' swap for the FTF or any little 'cachers you might have along.
