Did you know that Gateway Park is bigger than Central Park in New York City? While most of the park is currently not usable that won't be the case for long! In 2008 revitalizing Gateway Park was added to the scope of the Central City portion of the Trinity River Vision. The plan will include a major restoration of the park's ecosystem, provide numerous and diverse recreational amenities and provide the necessary flood storage to ensure the viability of the Central City flood control project.
