Partridge Green Methodist Church
There has been a Methodist presence in Partridge Green since the 1870s, some of the early meetings were held in the railway station waiting room. The first building was a wooden hut with a tin roof on part of the present site. In 1902 an additional piece of land was purchased and in 1906 the current church building was opened at a cost of £495 pounds.
During 1931 tenders were obtained for the building of a hall, kitchen, toilets, central heating, electrical wiring and redecorating for £1155 and the work was completed and opened on Easter Monday 1932.
In 1962 the church floor needed attention and the interior of the church was revamped, and in recent years there has been a lot of work improving the premises.
