Episode 2:
Challenge Style: Physical
Time Limit: The amount of time it takes for you to get through the maze, not much muggle activity as this task could take 15 minutes
How to get there
Stage 1: Look for the long, thin fallen tree. At the higher end, you will see a log laying across it. Where this log meets the ground (RHS as you stand looking at it) is where you will find a box with your instructions.
Final:
1. When you get your final co-ordinates at Stage 1, go back up and join the original path you were on.
2. Then follow that along and go to the left when it splits (you will see a bench, go towards that direction and down the other side of the hill) and this will lead you closer to the second waypoint.
3. Walk past the closest point on your compass to the second waypoint, and you will see a worn in path towards a flat clearing.
4. At the second waypoint, looking out towards the other side of the valley. There will be a line of trees in front of you on your LHS, follow the sheep track along the base of these trees.
Do not go direct from stage 1, its far too dangerous overall
Special Rules: You will get your instructions at Stage 1, and you'll know when you've failed the challenge!
Richard O'Brien Style Tip:
"Team work not essential, probably just more fun. The glass on the cache container is quite delicate, SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN OPENING this part. At Stage 1 you will get instructions on how to use the cache and how to reset! Make sure you enjoy yourself"
Rules of "The Crystal Maze"
DON'T post pictures of the challenge itself (it will ruin the fun)
DON'T put anything other than the cache log container back into the challenge (it may not open/close properly)
Be SAFE when performing the challenge (especially if it has rained)
DO have fun (can be fun as a team)
DO be gentle with the challenge container (it took a long time to build)
DO take note of the number at the top of the log (you will need it by the end of the series)
Difficulty rating:
For the challenge itself, it requires memory, physical activity and patience to complete and reset
Terrain rating:
Stage 1 is off the beaten track, with thorns throughout. For the location of the cache container is along a ridge which just needs careful footing if wet
