Skärgårdshemmanet Hermas på Enklinge har anor från 1500-talet. Gården var bebodd till 1973. År 1979 köpte Ålands landskapsstyrelse Hermas för att göra det gamla skärgårdshemmanet till museum.
The old archipelago homestead Hermas, dating back to the 1500´s, is situated in the centre of the village of Enklinge. The farm was inhabited until 1973. In 1979 the Åland Government bought the old archipelago homestead in order to make it a museum.
Hermas on vanha saaristolaistila, jonka juuret ulottuvat aina 1500-luvulle asti. Tila pysyi asuttuna aina vuoteen 1973 asti. Hermasin museotilan toiminnasta vastaa Ahvenanmaan maakuntahallituksen museotoimen etnologian osasto.
