Geocache Description:

Start - Task - Final

BOTW Odiáxere
Since 2011 I walked/rode several times the way between Lagos and Portimão and always I stopped here to look to that object some meters away. It remembers me to an old folk song heard first when I was a schoolboy. But here B seems to make more trouble than W ...
Now I have set out a small container.
Because Espargosas a geocaching pioneer in the Western Algarve once lived nearby and built some extraordinary multi caches, this should not be a simple throw-away.
So I combinied it with a little task.

Start
Park near the above coords and look to the second tree.
It has a special green leaf, just in height of your head.
Only look, don´t pick it!

Task
To form the final coords you need the
14 letters of an american singer/songwriter duo
as key code.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

Final: N 37° 9.ABC W 8° 38.DEF (sum A-F: 29).
(zero? under your finger!)

If you don´t have any idea look around to the scenery .... *)
What song do you*) relate to it and who has performed it?

Final
It´s a small container (~ 4 x 8 cm).
It is not below your knees and not higher than your head.
If you have doubts you can use the Checker (incl. a spoiler photo!)

*) 2 owner notes:
a) the place of the leaf had to be changed and the scenery is not exactly the same as I saw it first.
If you are going to N 37° 9.669 W 8° 38.131 there is a very nice viewing point.
b) Perhaps you are associating other songs but most people (according to google) think first on this, if they see that object at the viewing point.

PS - A little Background Story
After placing the leaf in the tree I cycled back to Lagos. Everything is best!
A doubt came ... the name of the singer duo ... too difficult?
For English cachers it is very easy. Perhaps for Germans too. And elderly.
But the younger? Portuguese? Tourist? Other cultures?
Suddenly I stopped!
Only coincidence? ... or a hint from God?
There are 6 traffic signs on a pole and all 13 letters (of 14) I see on the signs!
(except that unimportant letter which is been added to the portuguese alphabet 39 years after the song is been published).
You don´t believe it?
See! The third letter on the highest sign (A) ... or on the lowest sign (F) with ...
You can check it!
A3-C8-C9-F2-C3-F8-B1-B7-C6-B6-A12-x-B4-F6
It´s up to you which sign you follow!
(Jan.2019: sign E is been removed, but not needed in formula)

2024: Change of signs. To save fuel and time you can see an old photo of the signs when using this HELP (you need the code of the leaf to open it).
