Cette zone renferme un cortège faunique d'un intérêt assez élevé de plusieurs espèces animales patrimoniales, toutes remarquables. Ces espèces animales sont pour la plupart liées aux formations de ripisylves. Le Castor d'Europe ainsi qu'un cortège d'oiseaux nicheurs intéressant sur le plan patrimonial habitent ce secteur : Bihoreau gris. Aigrette garzette , Circaète Jean-le-blanc, Faucon hobereau, Petit Gravelot, Sterne pierregarin, Petit-duc scops, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe, Pic épeichette, Cincle plongeur, Gobemouche gris, Bruant proyer. Le Pélodyte ponctué pour les Amphibiens ainsi que la Bouvière, le Blageon et le Toxostome.
