Panorama du cèdre
Au sud du parc Michel d'Ornano, le cèdre du Liban planté en en 1849 par les chanoinesses régulières qui servirent l'Hôtel-Dieu jusqu'en 1908, a été conservé. Il commémore les massacres des chrétiens maronites au Liban en 1845.
Le cèdre, juché au sommet d'une butte érigée pour former un belvédère, était accessible par un sentier bordé de charmilles appelé « Limaçon ».
Depuis la plate-forme, maintenant accessible par un simple escalier, on peut admirer un des plus beaux panoramas sur la ville de Caen et ses nombreux clochers.

In the South of the park Michel d'Ornano, the cedar of Lebanon planted there in 1849 by the regular canonesses who served the Hôtel-Dieu until 1908, was preserved. It commemorates the massacres of the Maronite Christians in the Lebanon in 1845.
The cedar, perched at the top of a mound set up to form a belvedere, was accessible by a path lined with bowers called "Limaçon".
Since the platform, now accessible by a simple staircase, we can admire one of the most beautiful panoramas on the city of Caen and its numerous bell towers.

N’oubliez pas de tamponner votre carnet de notes personnel par la même occasion.
Il est entendu que les cartes postales qui se trouvent dans la cache doivent y être laissées car elles sont considérées comme faisant partie intégrante du registre de visites. Il s'agit d'un dépôt seulement.
Si vous avez un tampon personnel… n’hésitez pas une seule seconde à en donner un petit coup sur le carnet.
Les caches de type «Letterbox Hybrid» sont rares, alors s'il vous plait, jouez le jeu honnêtement par respect pour les autres géocacheurs et afin d'arborer fièrement cet icône dans votre profil.
