There are several ways to get to this geocache on old roads winding around the Ridge that are mainly overgrown. The suggested parking area provides the most direct route. I find it the easiest way, some may find it the hardest; straight up. The Old Harper Settlement road, across from the church, begins well but quickly disappears.
However, the same old road goes up the hill on the southern side.
The Old Nickerson Cemetery sports a fairly recent Memorial Stone placed in honour of Pioneer Settlers of the Anagance Ridge and Harper Settlement areas. Most of the gravestones have long since disappeared and so to commemorate those who were laid to rest in this quiet corner the Memorial Stone stands witness to an earlier day and time. Please be respectful of this area.
