The locations for the first four caches can be solved using the information on their pages. The location for the fifth cache can be solved using information at each of the first four caches, though will likely require either a smart phone or a trip home to use the internet. Note that if you plan on doing the fifth cache, it would be best to do the other four in order. Round trip for all five caches is 3.5 miles. There are several stream crossings on this trail; sometimes the stones are partially submerged, so you may get slightly wet feet. Park closed mid-Jan to March and when muddy. Trail status line is 301-924-1998. Alternatively, the Math, Language Arts, and Philosophy caches can be done by parking at Black Rock Mill. However, if you are planning on completing all five caches, you must complete the Math cache prior to the Philosophy cache.
For this one, you’ll need to solve a piece at each of the other four caches in this series to get the coordinates for. You may need to look some things up on the internet (using a smartphone or going back home to use your computer) unless you know the information (such as “what color is teal?” and “what’s the symbol for the base of natural logarithms?”)
