Dr. Sun Yat Sen Park is an urban park named for the founding father of the Republic of China, Dr Sun Yat Sen. It is 70,000 square meters and located in northern Macau, next to the Barrier Gate. The park features a barbeque site, a library, a swimming pool, a children's playground, and multi-purpose sports fields provide recreation.
The former Wong Ieng Kuan Library was one of the earliest IACM’s libraries officially opened to the public in 1996. The new library was transformed from a restaurant besides an artificial lake and offers a more comfortable reading environment. Besides offering reading services; the library also provides a multimedia room, children’s reading room, and a newspaper and periodicals reading section for continuing education. There is a collection of 18,600 books and a seating capacity of 80.

Transportation: Bus 30 and 34, taking off at M63 PARQUE M. DR. SUN YAT SEN 紀念孫中山公園 and enter the park via the footbridge.
