Dziekanów został założony jako kolonia mennonicka w XIX wieku. Dominowała tu ludność niemieckojęzyczna, stąd przyjęła się nazwa Dziekanów Niemiecki. Przed I wojną światową były tu już tylko 2 rodziny polskie. W wyniku II wojny światowej Niemcy uciekli z Dziekanowa w 1944 roku.
Cmentarz powstał w XIX wieku i po 1945 był dewastowany. Pomimo powojennej dewastacji zachowało się kilkanaście nagrobków przeważnie dzieci, ale też i starszych mieszkańców Dziekanowa z rodzin Weimerów, Jeda, Metz, Petz, Albrecht, Graff, Kohl i Wolff, które odnotowane są już w aktach z pierwszej połowy XIX wieku.
5 listopada 2012 roku Stowarzyszenie Nasze Łomianki zawarło porozumienie z właścicielem terenu Kampinoskim Parkiem Narodowym, w wyniku czego udało się uporządkować teren cmentarza i dokonać wycinki drzew i zarośli. 12 czerwca 2014 uroczyście udostępniono cmentarz dla zwiedzających, choć prace porządkowe trwają tam nadal.
Z okazji otwarcia cmentarza powstała specjalna publikacja dostępna tutaj.
Dziś dojście do cmentarza jest od strony szlaku rowerowego i oznaczone jest specjalną tablicą.

Dziekanów (Dean village) was founded as Mennonite colony in the nineteenth century. The dominant population here was German-speaking, so that the name of Dziekanów Niemiecki (German Dziekanów). Before World War I there were only 2 Polish family. As a result of World War II Germans fled Dziekanów in 1944.
The cemetery was founded in the nineteenth century, and after 1945 he was devastated. Despite the devastation of postwar times survived several tombstones mostly children, but also senior citizens of Dziekanów like families Weimer, Jed, Metz, Petz, Albrecht, Graff, Kohl and Wolff, which are already recorded in the records from the first half of the nineteenth century.
In 2012, the Association of Our Lomianki concluded an agreement with the owner of the land Kampinoski National Park, and as a result was able to put to order the cemetery and clear spare trees and bushes. June 12, 2014 officially made available to the public cemetery, although restoration of cemetery is still there.
On the occasion of the opening of the cemetery a special publication is available here in Polish.
Today, access to the cemetery is from the bike trail and marked with a special plaque.
