Geocache Description:

30ml camo tube

A series of micro/small caches to celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas. Throughout the first 11 Days of Christmas a cache will be published at 11:00 - Enough time to get out, grab your FTF and get back to Peterborough (or wherever you may have come from). Each will have a letter written on the top of the log sheet. Make a note of it you will need it on 12th Night!

At some point on Twelfth Night (5th January - the night before Epiphany) the bonus cache will be published. This will tell you how to use the letters to find the actual cache location. Good Luck and Merry Christmas.

The Twelve Days of Christmas is a festive Christian season, beginning on Christmas Day (25 December), to celebrate the nativity of Jesus. For some, this period is the same as Christmastide; for others, Christmastide lasts a little longer. The Twelve Days are different from the Octave of Christmas, which is the eight-day period from Christmas Day until 1 January. The Twelfth Day of Christmas falls on 5 or 6 January depending on the tradition followed. Similarly, Twelfth Night is commonly held to be 5 January, but some hold that it is 6 January. Traditionally, the Feast of the Epiphany is celebrated on 6 January, which is either the last of the Twelve Days or the day immediately after them.

The song the 12 days of Christmas has many versions. My favoured version involves the four Colly or Collie birds ans the Ladies and Lords right at the end. Sing what you like. They all have the same tune!
